Paulsboro wrestlers rout West Deptford, 68-17

First-minute pins by Anthony Bennett at 125 pounds and Tyree Ellis at 145 aided the Red Raiders, ranked No. 3 in South Jersey by The Inquirer.

Seventh-ranked West Deptford got a 6-5 thriller by 119-pounder Evan Zuzulock in the opening match.

Also in the Colonial, top-ranked Haddonfield clinched the Liberty Division crown with a 56-10 over No. 9 Collingswood. The host Bulldogs were led by Kyle Klaus' 15-0 technical fall at 112, and Carson Stack's 46-second pin at 285.

Burlington County. Bordentown, ranked No. 10, won the battle for first place in the Patriot Division, 33-27, at New Egypt. With the score tied, 27-27, Chris Nitschmann came through with a pin in 1 minute, 17 seconds at 130 pounds for the clincher.

Olympic. Jake Manelis earned a 3-2 decision at 103 pounds and Eric Traister added an 8-7 verdict at 145, and the two close calls proved decisive as the Vikings clipped host Seneca, 35-26. Robert Deutsch hurried to a 16-second pin at 119.

Basketball

Cherry Hill West needed Marquis Goodman's two foul shots with 2.3 seconds left to escape with a 69-68 Olympic Conference thriller at Camden.

The Panthers rallied behind Kelvin Davis (15 points) from an eight-point deficit in the final period to take a one-point lead at 68-67, setting the stage for Goodman, who finished with 23 points.

Burlington County. Delran avenged an earlier 26-point loss to Holy Cross by shocking the visiting Lancers, 43-34, behind Anthony Bruno's 13 points and six rebounds.

Colonial. Haddon Heights held visiting Haddon Township without a third-quarter field goal en route to a 61-41 win. Heights' Michael Pitts (11) was the only player in the game who scored in double figures.

Tri-County. Stefano Okoro's 18 points and Tajee Almon's 14 provided most of Gloucester's offense during a 56-34 success at Pennsville.

Cape-Atlantic. St. Augustine claimed a 64-52 win over visiting Ocean City. Isaiah Morton connected on 27 points.

Nonleague. Audubon fashioned a 15-4 fourth-quarter rally and overtook visiting Camden County Tech for a 47-41 win. For the Green Wave, A. J. Pund had five steals, Charles Slack grabbed 10 rebounds, and Adin Borden scored 17 points.
