In the Cougars' 77-57 Olympic Conference victory at Triton, Santo scored 30 points, and grabbed eight rebounds and nine steals. A second-quarter basket put the 6-foot-5 senior at 2,000 points and he finished the game with 2,013, making him the 28th boy in South Jersey history to reach the milestone.

Santo's nine steals also broke the East school record of eight set last year by Ben Gerstein.

In other Olympic action, Winslow Township stormed back from a 34-23 halftime deficit with a solid defensive effort and a strong game by Stacey Upshaw Goree (15 points) to stun host Cherokee, 57-47. The Eagles ran off a 21-5 fourth period to win.

Camden Catholic also had a big comeback, rallying from 15 points down in the last period to force overtime before handing visiting Eastern a 58-54 loss. Kyle Green (22 points) scored eight points in the 25-10 fourth quarter and made all four of his foul shots in OT, while Matt McElhatton was 5 for 5 from the foul line in the extra period against the Vikings, the No. 7 team in South Jersey.

Lenape, ranked No. 6, got past upset-minded Woodrow Wilson, 49-43, on its home floor with points fom 13 players, led by Sean Kelly's 10.

Colonial. Haddon Township rallied from a 24-16 halftime deficit and beat host Audubon, 52-41. Logan Murray scored 16 of his 21 points after intermission.

Paulsboro fashioned a 21-11 fourth quarter and trimmed visiting Woodbury, 62-60. Xavier Lundy netted seven of his 18 in the last period.

Sterling handed host Overbrook its third loss, 80-68, as Will Stallworth's 23 points topped nine Silver Knights scorers. Overbrook's James Bullock led all scorers with 26 points.

Lindenwold's 67-38 success at Gateway was highlighted by Bruce Hicks' 14 points, six assists and four rebounds, and Jason Hutzler's 23 points, eight steals, four rebounds, and three assists.

Wyatt Polk got loose for 17 points in a 27-11 first-quarter spree on his way to a 25-point effort that fueled Haddonfield's 71-41 win over visiting West Deptford.

Burlington County. Medford Tech posted its 50th win in less than three full seasons under coach Nick Powell by beating visiting Holy Cross, 74-40. Devonte Carey scored 18 points, and Gregory Lawson had 12 points and eight rebounds, and Aaron Gibson snagged a dozen boards off the bench.

Northern Burlington doubled visiting Bordentown, 62-31, as Alex Irvin chipped in with a game-high 19 points for the Greyhounds.

Tri-County. Clearview rallied from five points down in the last minute of regulation, and outscored host Deptford by 8-6 in overtime to claim a 51-49 win. The Pioneers' Aquil Simmons scored 16 points.

Nonleague. Seneca followed Charlie Owl's 23 points, including 12 third-quarter points and three three-pointers, to a 50-43 triumph over visiting Pennsauken Tech.
