Wed. S.J. boys’ and girls’ roundup: Division-title streak hits 10

Brooke Hassan and Kat Wolf combined for 16 assists, while Kelsey DiVirgilio and Idi Uffen each had six kills as Williamstown rolled, 25-12, 25-8, in the first match.

Gabby Farquharson (four kills) and Gabby Kulikowski (four digs) paved the way for a 25-11, 25-16 triumph in the nightcap, improving the Braves' overall record to 25-2.

Field Hockey

Nikki Shapiro fashioned a hat trick while Paige Macrae produced two goals and a pair of assists, pacing Moorestown to a 6-1 victory at Burlington County League rival Holy Cross.

Quakers goalie Taylor Varga turned aside eight shots, allowing just a second-half score by Stephanie Bacho.

Tri-County. Emily Scanlon scored four times, bringing the junior's season total to 18 goals, and Danielle St. John and Alexa Branco added two goals apiece as Clearview cruised, 9-0, at Deptford.

Boys' Soccer

Nick Tierce scored his 11th goal of the season 10 minutes into the second half, and Eastern's defense notched its seventh shutout of the season, 1-0, in an Olympic Conference match at Bishop Eustace.

Goalies Frank Buchel and Scott Koehler combined for 12 saves in the shutout for the Vikings, ranked No. 9 in South Jersey by The Inquirer.

Cape-Atlantic. Top-rated St. Augustine blanked visiting Hammonton, 2-0, as Nick Giordano and Dominick Palmieri scored goals, and John Richards guarded the Hermits' net with six saves.

Nonleague. Matt Taylor and George Gans had two goals apiece in Haddon Heights' 4-1 win at Camden Catholic.
