Wed. S.J. boys’ roundup: Another soccer shutout for Cinnaminson

Max DiLeo knocked in the goal off an assist by Kevin Sotell with four minutes left in the first half. Kissinger made seven saves in getting the second straight shutout for Cinnaminson (7-2-1), ranked No. 10 in South Jersey by The Inquirer, which has played eight games decided by one goal this fall.

In other nonleague action, Pennsauken's Jaquari Judge scored five minutes into overtime to beat host Pemberton, 3-2. The Hornets had tied the game with 10 minutes left in regulation on Clevon McPherson's goal.

Tri-County. Playing in his second varsity game, Delsea freshman Chris Zeck scored his first two varsity goals, sparking a 3-1 win over visiting Cumberland. Steve Butenewicz added his 12th goal of the season, and Crusaders Nick Foley made four saves.

Corey Beltran's two goals helped Williamstown snap a 1-1 halftime deadlock and defeat visiting Kingsway, 3-1. Braves goalie Andrew McNellis made seven saves.

Glassboro erupted for an 8-4 shootout win over visiting Pennsville, aided by two goals each from Tim Bernard and Alex Tamba.

Cape-Atlantic. Unbeaten Sacred Heart tuned up for Friday's showdown with Cherokee in the South Jersey Coaches Tournament by posting its fourth straight shutout, 1-0, at Mainland. Mike Mazzochi scored the goal from Matt Beckett's assist in the first half, and goalie Jesse Dickenson made nine saves.

Weston Scott set up Jon Gery with the only goal for Wildwood Catholic en route to a 1-0 win over visiting Cape May Tech.

Two goals by senior forward Graham Deever gave him a career-high 16 this season, highlighting Middle Township's 4-1 win at Buena. Kyle Stanford added his 11th goal, and Gary Blum chipped in with a goal and two assists.

A.J. McFadden scored off a throw-in on a quick restart by Alec DelConte, giving Lower Cape May the lone goal in a 1-0 win at Holy Spirit.

Midfielder Randy Irion had a goal and an assist in Vineland's three-goal second half as the Clan pulled away from visiting Atlantic City, 4-1. Michael Bender, Nikolai Berezin and Joe Seagrave also scored for Vineland.

Egg Harbor Township has scored 25 goals in its last six games, including a 4-0 shutout at Millville. Ramiro Castillo, Abel Espinoza, Bernie Somers and Tim Sost scored single goals.
