Tues. S.J. boys’ roundup: DeSesso, Pennsauken post shutout

Domenick Rodriguez converted a pass from John Samara for the lone goal in the second half of the game that was dominated by Lenape.

DeSesso, a second-team all-South Jersey pick by the South Jersey Soccer Coaches Association as a junior last fall, turned back 20 shots.

Shawnee controlled host Camden Catholic, 5-0, behind Kyle Frank's two goals and goalie Mike Hartman's eight saves.

Rob Wiacek's natural hat trick started Eastern's five-goal outburst in a 15-minute span in the first half, leading to a 5-1 victory over visiting Winslow Township.

Burlington County. Max DiLeo scored Cinnaminson's first goal and assisted on Justin Redziniak's game-winner 10 minutes into the second half as the Pirates clipped visiting Holy Cross, 2-1. Redziniak headed in a throw-in.

Burlington Township blanked visiting Bordentown, 2-0, on goals by Chris Finley and Caio Machado, and two saves from Ryan Liberty.

Northern Burlington's balanced attack produced single goals by Dave Cohen, Nick Hammell, Lorenzo Laurenti and Ryan Walsh for a 4-1 win at Maple Shade.

Colonial. Lou Pera's two goals fueled Haddonfield's 3-1 success at Sterling.

George Gans poked in a pair of goals, and Haddon Heights goalie Kevin Miller made eight saves en route to a 5-0 win at Overbrook.

Audubon also won by a 5-0 margin, spiking visiting Paulsboro with Markos Georges' two goals and one assist, Mike Tegan's three assists, and goalie Kyle Phillippi's three saves.

Woodbury claimed a 3-0 win over visiting Lindenwold as goalies Zach Sharp and Anthony Mangeri combined for three saves and the shutout, and Michael Ulmer scored two goals.

Kyle Redrow's three-goal performance allowed West Deptford to race past visiting Collingswood, 4-0.

Cape-Atlantic. After a hand-ball in the box, Omar Morales converted the ensuing penalty kick six minutes into the second half for the game-winning goal in Atlantic City's 2-1 triumph at Millville.

Eucario Solano scored two unassisted goals and also converted a penalty kick, accounting for all of Absegami's offense in a 3-0 shutout at Hammonton.

St. Augustine handled visiting Egg Harbor Township, 5-0, as Christian Gill scored twice, Ryan Stahl had two assists, and goalie John Richards made six saves.

Nonleague. Rancocas Valley's first win was a 2-0 shutout of visiting Salesianum (Del.) in which Ian Carmelia and Eric Stoor each scored a goal and assisted on the other, and goalie Ryan Sanders made seven saves.
