Rutgers-Camden soccer team extends unbeaten streak

Rutgers University-Camden men's soccer raced to a 3-0 lead and went on to defeat Ramapo College, 4-1, in a New Jersey Athletic Conference game on the home pitch Saturday afternoon.

With their win, the the Scarlet Raptors raised their record to 16-0-2 overall, setting records for the best start in program history and the longest single-season undefeated string ever. Rutgers-Camden is ranked No. 3 in the D3soccer.com Top 25 and No. 4 in the NSCAA national poll.

Sophomore forward Mike Ryan (Cherokee) notched his team-leading 15th goal and two assists while Connor Hurff (St. Augustine Prep) netted his fifth goal. Mitch Grotti (Millville) and Grant Taylor also scored one each while Bayley Young (Southern) scored the lone goal for Ramapo.
