Penn picked 2d in Ivy

Penn was picked to finish second in the Ivy League in men's basketball in a preseason media poll Wednesday.

The Quakers finished 9-22 last season, including 6-8 in league play.

Harvard was the unanimous choice to win the Ivy League title in the poll of media representatives who regularly cover the eight-team conference.

The Crimson (20-10, 11-3 last season) received all 17 first-place votes after winning their third straight league title and beating New Mexico in the NCAA tournament.

Yale, 14-17 last season and 8-6 in the conference, was picked to finish third.
