Lenape: This will be the Indians' first appearance in a sectional final.

Timber Creek: This is the Chargers' sixth straight appearance in a sectional final and seventh overall. They have won three championships: 2015 and 2012 in South Jersey Group 4 and 2011 in Group 3.

Coaches: Lenape's Tim McAneney has a 92-73 overall record coaching at Lenape, Holy Cross and Bishop Eustace. He is 40-22 at Lenape. Timber Creek's Rob Hinson is 97-36 overall and 92-31 at Timber Creek.

Lenape key players: Junior running back JoJo Kellum has rushed for 955 yards (5.2 avg.) and 10 touchdowns. Junior quarterback Matt Lajoie has rushed for 721 yards (8.5 avg.) and eight touchdowns. He has completed 43 of 87 passes for 695 yards and seven touchdowns. Junior linebacker Mike Galaida is among the defensive leaders on a unit that has allowed 7.7 points per game.

Timber Creek key players: Junior quarterback Devin Leary has completed 62.1 percent of his passes for 3,331 yards, 45 touchdowns and just three interceptions. Senior receiver Ezrah Archie has 67 receptions for 1,131 yards and 18 touchdowns. Senior Dante Waugh-Hill has 35 receptions for 732 yards and 11 touchdowns. Senior defensive end Tony Brown has 62 tackles and eight sacks.

Key matchup: With any team Timber Creek plays, it is how an opponent can defend the Chargers' potent passing game. Lenape senior defensive back Mike Doulong, who has a team-high eight interceptions, won't play due to a broken foot, and that will hurt the Indians.

Fast fact: According to historian Chuck Langerman, Timber Creek has scored 533 points, which is the second-highest total in South Jersey history, behind Penns Grove in 2012, which scored 621 points.

Pick: Timber Creek 28, Lenape 14
