South Jersey Friday roundup

Joe DeBenedictis had 26 carries for 100 yards for the winners, and Shayne McCabe had five catches for 79 yards.

Collingswood 24, Buena 0: Robert Upshar scored an 18-yard rushing touchdown and kicked a 23-yard field goal. Michael Taulane had a 3-yard rushing touchdown with a successful two-point conversion. Jovon Allie scored the final touchdown on a 12-yard run.

Field Hockey

Host Eastern defeated Bishop Eustace, 3-2, in sudden death overtime in an Olympic Conference matchup.

The win increased Eastern's win streak to 83 in a row. In addition, Eastern has not lost in 141 games.

Tri-County Conference. Clearview defeated visiting Kingsway, 1-0. Chandler McFeeley was the lone scorer for the Pioneers, while Julianna Smith made 12 saves for the shutout.

Girls' Soccer

Kingsway defeated host Clearview in overtime, 3-2, in a Tri-County Conference game. Rachel Hollywood scored both goals for the Pioneers but could not match the Dragons' Julia Evernham, who scored all three goals for Kingsway.

Elsewhere in Tri-County Conference action, host Deptford defeated Schalick, 5-1. Brianna Jankauskas led the Spartans with two goals and two assists, while Leah Giles, Camryn Tirado, and Victoria Wood added goals.

Burlington County League. Cinnamonson defeated host Northern Burlington, 5-0. Hailey Gutowski and Kelly Kane each added two goals for the Pirates. Emma Karch rounded out the scoring, and Maddie Ogden made four saves for the shutout.

Boys' Soccer

Host Burlington Township defeated Moorestown Friends, 2-1, in a nonleague game. Jawon Daniels scored the first goal with a shot from 20 yards out. Justin Giordano rounded out the scoring with a breakaway finish in the 80th minute. Cory Smith had six saves for the shutout.
