The junior pitched all seven innings, striking out 13 and allowing five hits.
Inter-Ac League. Haverford School topped visiting Episcopal Academy, 3-0, behind a two-hit shutout by Cameron Miller. Miller struck out six batters in the seven-inning performance.
Ches-Mont League. Drew Dolan struck out nine in seven innings and allowed seven hits and no walks in host Bishop Shanahan's 2-0 win against Coatesville.
Friends Schools League. Blake Rodack's seven-inning effort on the mound led Shipley to a 6-5 road win against Abington Friends.
Softball
In nonleague action, Kim Mullarky went 3 for 4 with a double in Radnor's 8-5 road win over Christopher Dock. She also scored one run and drove in two. Jill Bolton chipped in a triple in the win.
Public League. Briahn Paul picked up the win in Sankofa Freedom Academy's 15-5 win over host Edison, a game that featured 45 total hits.
Girls' Lacrosse
Senior midfielder Jesse Rubin surpassed the 200-assist mark for her career in Friends' Central's 12-9 road win against Shipley.
Rubin had five assists and three goals in the Friends Schools League victory.
Boys' Lacrosse
Kyle Anderson netted five goals in Malvern Prep's 16-4 home win over Germantown Academy in Inter-Ac action.
