Pa. boys: Academy of the New Church wins Friends Schools wrestling title

Graham Johnson started the stretch with a pin at 170 pounds. Jamie Earle (195) added a decision, and Brayden Boyeson (220) and Kyle Cole (285) won by forfeit. Mike Antonyuk (106) scored a major decision, and Declan Durran (113) won by fall.

PIAA AAA Duals. Jordan Wood (220) scored a pin in 49 seconds, but it was not enough as Boyertown fell in the championship final to Bethlehem Catholic, 37-12. Boyertown's Hunter Vogels (152) and Gregg Harvey (182) each won by decision.

Boys' Basketball

Constitution's Maurice Waters scored 30 points and grabbed 20 rebounds as the Generals knocked off Math, Civics, and Sciences, 86-70, in the Public League Class A final at High School of the Future.

Public League 2A. Rodney Ross scored 12 of his 13 points in the second half to propel Mastery North past Parkway Center City, 58-53, in the final at High School of the Future. Eli Alvin led the team with 19 points.

Boys' Bowling

La Salle captured its second-straight Catholic League bowling title with a 3,032-2,692 win over Conwell-Egan at Thunderbird Lanes.
