Rancocas Valley holds off Gloucester, 53-50

Rancocas Valley held on for a 53-50 nonleague win Saturday after host Gloucester rallied from a 15-point deficit but missed a tying three-point attempt at the buzzer.

Rancocas Valley held on for a 53-50 nonleague win Saturday after host Gloucester rallied from a 15-point deficit but missed a tying three-point attempt at the buzzer.

Three players scored in double figures for Rancocas Valley. Katie McShea had 12 points, Jonise Ledbetter added 11 points, and Lauren Lewis scored 10. Gloucester's Nikki Velez led all scorers with 34 points.

In other nonleague action:

Four players had great all-around games in Absegami's 50-44 win over visiting Manchester Township. Julia Dolan posted 19 points, five rebounds, and four assists. Arielle Schafer had 11 points and 11 rebounds. Kiyanna Thomas pitched in 11 points and seven rebounds. Manchester Township's Anissia Fucci scored a game-high 20 points, including six three-pointers.

Marisa DiLeo scored 13 points to lead Cinnaminson to a 38-32 win over visiting Haddon Township. Erin Rust led Haddon Township with 14 points.

Three Lower Cape May players scored in double figures as the Tigers beat visiting Bordentown, 52-48, in overtime. Olivia Levin led Lower Cape May with 16 points. The Tigers trailed by six after three quarters.

Mary Gedaka (25) and Maggie McIntyre (21) combined for 46 points to lead visiting Gloucester Catholic to a 71-38 win over Paul VI.

Pennsauken topped visiting Cherry Hill West, 40-18, behind a combined 31 points from Briana Roberts (17) and Shayla Sweeney (14).

Shawnee turned away visiting Trenton Catholic, 60-39, scoring 25 points in the fourth quarter. Shawnee's Jen Byrne scored a game-high 21 points. Jenna Hoffner had 11 rebounds and Olivia Schuck posted six rebounds, four assists, and three steals.

Overbrook stifled Triton in a 50-39 road win. No Triton players scored in double figures. Raquel Harris-Scott paced Overbrook with 18 points.

Angelai Hayes led Woodbury to a 36-29 home win over Woodstown. Hayes had 20 points, including three three-pointers, 10 rebounds, and three steals.
