S.J. girls: Baines leads Highland past GCIT

BASKETBALL TRI-COUNTY ROYAL Highland 77, GCIT 48: Azana Baines had 26 points, 15 rebounds, six steals, and a pair of assists in a win at home. Tamija Harrison added 12 points. The freshman also had six rebounds, four steals, three assists, and a block. Ayanna Bey recorded 11 points. Jessica Beck led GCIT with 21 points, including three three-pointers. Tori Aversa registered 18 points.

Cumberland 61, Pennsgrove 19: Vashti Hannah led the host team to victory with 19 points. SyDonnie Dawkins added 10 points.

BURLINGTON COUNTY

Westampton Tech 64, Burlington Township 33: Dalazia Bailey and Kylan Watkins each scored 12 points for host Westampton Tech. Driyyana Harris had nine points. Siani Smith and Taylor Warner scored eight points apiece. Tamecia Ransom (17 points) and TaLynn Scott (10) each provided double-digit scoring for Burlington Township.

Pemberton 64, Burlington City 36: Shavonne Smith scored 11 points, Lexus Phillips added 10, and Pemberton rolled to victory at home. Jazmin Belton, Joe-Annah Jean Jacques, and Makayla Laster each scored eight points. Alex Sams led Burlington City with 22 points.

CAPE-ATLANTIC

Wildwood Catholic 52, Lower Cape May 47: Caitlin McMullan led host Wildwood Catholic with 14 points. Noelle Johnson and Eileen McNulty added 13 points apiece. Lower Cape May's Olivia Levin had 15 points. Marissa McGaffney recorded 10 points.

Middle Township 48, Cedar Creek 32: Bridget Ruskey had 14 points, nine rebounds, and seven assists in a win at home. Jenna Herlihy added six points, nine rebounds, five assists, and five steals.

NONLEAGUE

Deptford 62, LEAP Academy Charter 32: Juliette Tobin powered the visiting Spartans' offense with 31 points. The junior also had five steals. Brianna Jankaukas added 14 points. Stephanie Newkirk had 11 rebounds.

Lindenwold 55, Medford Tech 38: Tamia Robinson and Iasha Beeks each had 12 points for host Lindenwold. Shola Karimu Onissema added 10 points. Medford Tech's Jordynn Thompson scored 12 points.
