Randolph gets past Southern, 55-53

Sellers finished the game with seven points. Donte McCrea led Randolph with 18.

In other Public League Class AAA action:

Sayre's Brandon White scored 21 points and Nasir Blanden finished with 22, scoring 12 in the third quarter in a 77-39 win against visiting Mastbaum.

West Philadelphia's Dymeir Shakelford scored all three of his points at the foul line in the final minute of play to defeat visiting Palumbo, 61-57. Malik Lorenzano led West in scoring with 15 points.

Public AAAA. Emeuel Charleston scored 14 of his 24 points in the first half to help Lincoln defeat host Kensington, 57-52.

John Kirkpatrick earned 16 points, nine rebounds and three steals in host Northeast's 52-46 win over Central.

Rashon Johnson led Simon Gratz in scoring with 14 points and added four blocks and seven rebounds to defeat host Overbrook, 56-40.

Girls' Basketball

Jordan Wright scored a career-high 40 points in Parkway Center City's 79-46 win over visiting Del-Val Charter in a Public League game.

In other Public League action:

Jenna Rand and Olivia Keyes earned double-doubles as Franklin Towne Charter defeated host Science Leadership, 48-26. Keyes finished with 11 points and 11 rebounds while Rand scored 10 points and had 12 rebounds.

Penn-Jersey. Julia Paiano had a doubledouble, 10 points and 10 rebounds, to advance host New Foundations to the second round of playoffs after beating Girard College, 39-6.

Bicentennial. Taylor Mingle grabbed 14 rebounds with 10 points to earn a double-double in Delco Christian's 60-19 win against MaST Charter.
