S. Jersey football: Kingsway holds off Clearview, 20-14

In a 20-14 win over Clearview, the ground attack led the way for the host Dragons in the West Jersey League National matchup.

The duo of Anthony Seas and Jay Scerbo combined for 200 yards rushing, with Seas scoring a 6-yard touchdown.

Kingsway's defense played just as well as its running backs, as it forced five turnovers - one returned for a 24-yard score.

WJFL American. Michael Piperno and Nicholas Grosso came out firing in Washington Township's 28-7 victory at Williamstown. The two connected for two touchdowns in the first quarter.

WJFL Classic. Clayton's defense dominated in a 27-8 win over visiting Pitman. Anthony Pasquale, Primer Wilson, and Michael Gibson each returned interceptions for TDs. The lone offensive score for the Clippers came on a 50-yard pass from Kwenzel Hannah to Elijah Rehm.

WJFL Freedom. Palmyra's Max Smyth tossed four touchdown passes - three to Kelvin Harmon - in a 49-6 rout of host Burlington City. Elijah Karnjay rushed for a 71-yard score, and Andrew Hunt ran in an 18-yard TD.

Joey Foga rushed for a touchdown and caught a TD pass in a 41-20 win at home for Florence over Riverside. Davon Williams rushed for two touchdowns.

WJFL Liberty. Shaun Davilla led the way for Cinnaminson in its 41-16 win at Delran. The quarterback threw one TD to Devon Taylor and ran for four more. Rashad Raymond also ran in a 43-yard score.

Colonial Conference Patriot. Darius Triplett scored the first and last touchdowns for Woodbury in its 29-14 win at Gateway. Triplett scored on runs of 18 yards and 14 yards. Jaquan Solomon and Charles Sampson each scored a touchdown.

Cape-Atlantic American. William Polhamus had 98 passing yards and a TD for Millville, as the Thunderbolts cruised to a 21-0 win over visiting Vineland. Khary Folayan caught a touchdown, and Clayton Scott rushed for 39 yards and a TD.

Cape-Atlantic National. Middle Township scored 33 straight points in a 33-6 win at Lower Cape May. Juan Illa scored two TDs - one rushing, one receiving.

Nonleague. Vincent DiGiacomo and the Gloucester offense got stronger as the game went on in a 27-7 win over visiting Gloucester Catholic. DiGiacomo rushed for 242 yards and two scores on 23 carries.

Joe Benson tallied 280 passing yards and two scores for Pemberton in a 22-20 victory at Northern Burlington.

Shareef Jefferies' 10-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter lifted Salem over host Woodstown, 16-14. Jefferies also rushed for a 2-yard score in the first quarter.

Marquese Holmes' 7-yard touchdown in the first put Cherokee ahead, and the Chiefs never gave up the lead, defeating host Seneca, 14-12. Jake Bodine tossed a 25-yard score to Stephan Gervasi.

Ibn Wilkerson, Vinnie Nelson, and Ifreke Andy each scored a rushing TD for host Absegami in a 28-7 win over Oakcrest.

Doug DeBerry scored three touchdowns in Atlantic City's 32-10 win over visiting Holy Spirit. DeBerry caught passes of 44 yards and 15 yards and returned a kick 85 yards for scores.

Brendan Gilmartin led the charge for Haddonfield, as the visiting Bulldogs beat Haddon Heights, 37-21. Gilmartin threw for 197 yards, ran for 139, and scored four TDs.

Xander Sommers caught two TDs in Bordentown's 48-14 rout of visiting New Egypt. Dante Gipson threw a touchdown and rushed for another.

Dan Henderson rushed for three touchdowns, and Owen Naplacic added two more touchdowns on the ground in Ocean City's 43-12 win over Pleasantville.

Walter Lewis and Devin Leary each scored two touchdowns for Timber Creek in a 65-14 win over visiting Triton. Sage Brown also scored two touchdowns.
