After an hour delay because of lightning, Episcopal Academy started quickly and throttled sluggish host Conwell-Egan, 42-14, in nonleague action at Truman.
Dee Barlee led the Churchmen (5-0), who capitalized on three first-quarter fumbles by the Eagles (4-2, 1-0).
Barlee, who also recovered a fumble as a linebacker, finished with 157 rushing yards and five touchdowns on 27 carries.
He scored on runs of 4, 4, 10, 3 and 30 yards.
Episcopal quarterback C.J. McAnally finished 7 of 8 for 124 yards and a passing touchdown.
Christian Feliziani, a lacrosse star committed to Ohio State, finished with 2 catches for 45 yards and a receiving score.
Episcopal, which gobbled 319 yards of total offense, allowed Conwell-Egan just six first downs, with three coming via penalty yardage.
For the Eagles, quarterback Kendall Jones finished with a touchdown in the air and on the ground.
He also added 66 passing yards and 65 rushing yards.
Jones also made the game's most impressive play, hurdling a defender en route to a 31-yard carry.
C-E, however, was hurt by 10 penalties and 3 turnovers, and trailed Episcopal, 35-7, by halftime.
The undefeated Churchmen open the Inter-Ac season next week.
Head coach Todd Fairlie and his crew will host Malvern Prep, which boasts a win against two-time defending AAAA state champ, St. Joseph's Prep.
The Eagles, who are tied atop Catholic League AA play with West Catholic, travel to Lansdale Catholic next week.
