Lauren Royster, the goalie for the Delran soccer team, made her best effort to do that Thursday in the Bears' 1-0 Burlington County League victory over Rancocas Valley.

In the first half, Royster made a diving save, getting enough of the ball to slow it down. But as the ball continued to roll toward the empty net, Royster bounded up and dove again, smacking away the ball and any chances of a Red Devils lead.

Royster made two more saves after Cassie Kennedy scored the lone goal of the match in the second game.
