Plumstead Christian tennis ace Kyle Seelig will end his decorated high school career the same way he began it - as a state champion.

Seelig defeated Andre Fick of Wyomissing, 6-1, 6-3 in the Class AA singles final Saturday at the Hershey Racquet Club.

Seelig, who knocked off Luke Phillips of Carlynton, 6-3, 6-1 in the semifinals, also won a state title his freshman season and was named a high-school All-American. He took the next two years off from high-school play, competing in USTA tournaments.

Seelig, of Hatfield, will play at Ohio State.

Downingtown East sophomore Michael Dickson battled in the Class AAA final before falling to Chad Kissell of Greater Latrobe, 6-4, 6-7 (8-6), 6-3.

Conestoga's Class AAA doubles team of Steve Yang and Max Howarth also lost in a three-set final, going down 6-4, 3-6, 6-4 to Josh Raymundo and Aaron Gruber of Mars Area.

Holy Ghost Prep's Mark Pabalan and Brandon Fritz fell in straight sets in the Class AA doubles final.
