S. Jersey Boys: S.J. boys: Trio leads Lenape past Seneca

Three Lenape players gave the Indians all the offense they needed Monday afternoon. Anthony Brunetti, Scott Fayan, and Tim Montgomery each netted a pair of goals as Lenape edged host Seneca, 6-5, in an Olympic Conference lacrosse game.

Three Lenape players gave the Indians all the offense they needed Monday afternoon.

Anthony Brunetti, Scott Fayan, and Tim Montgomery each netted a pair of goals as Lenape edged host Seneca, 6-5, in an Olympic Conference lacrosse game.

Burnetti dished out two assists and Montgomery recorded one.

Conor Gaffney registered eight ground balls. Manny D'Allesio made 11 saves.

Kevin Gray scored twice for Seneca.

In other Olympic Conference action:

Jordan Dzierzgowski's second goal was the difference in Washington Township's 7-6 victory over visiting Haddonfield in double overtime. Luke Xantopolous chipped in three goals. Jake Dzierzgowki and Joe Pandolfi each had a goal and one assist. Will Batson scored three goals for Haddonfield.

Nonleague. Derek Alcavage and Neil McGee both recorded hat tricks to lead Gloucester Catholic in a 12-9 victory over visiting Middle Township. Chaz Hance added two goals. Colin Corrado scored once and added three assists. Freshman Zach Raudenbush contributed a goal, an assist, and was 20 for 23 on faceoffs. Christian Holmes dished out three assists. Matt McGinley finished with 10 saves.

Ian Sheekey scored five goals to help host Cherry Hill East rout Rancocas Valley, 15-5. Josh Cohen added four goals. Eric Sherman scored three goals. Brandon Stern scored twice.

Adam Chodes scored six goals and added five assists to lead Northern Burlington to a 17-5 victory over visiting Hamilton West. Tristan Tilghman tacked on four goals and two assists.

Egg Harbor Township turned away visiting Williamstown, 19-2, behind four goals each from Zach Wechsler and Justin Miller. Wechsler also had five assists. Ryan King had a hat trick and dished out three assists. Blaise Mossman recorded three goals. Devin Swisher paired two goals with two assists.

Cole Blackley piled up four goals, three assists, and five ground balls in Lower Cape May's 12-5 win at Winslow Township. Tyler Goarfal scored three goals. Thomas Kripfgans scored twice.

Zeek Chaparro and Wade Glegg each scored twice to lead Cedar Creek to an 8-7 triumph at Atlantic City. Kyle Broecker, Brian Devinny, Ryan McMahon, and Matt Sooy also scored. Riley Blackenship made 11 saves to earn the victory.

Randy Collins and Evan Sibson each scored four times as host Absegami won, 16-8, over Woodstown. Sibson also had three assists. Quentin Jennings had three goals and three assists. Ryan Ward scored twice and dished out four assists. Luke Gifford made nine saves.
