Ridley pins Radnor, 36-31

Ridley capitalized on three pins Wednesday to edge host Radnor in a Central League wrestling match, 36-31. Matt Cowan (120 pounds) earned his pin in 1 minute, 50 seconds, Christian Dunn (152) finished his match in 3:15, and Cade Heverly (160) needed just 50 seconds.

In other Central League action, Penncrest beat visiting Springfield (Delco), 61-9, with the help of Max Miller's 33-second fall at 170 pounds and Matthew Young's 13-4 major decision at 160 pounds.

Suburban One National. Ben Stern (182 pounds), Bruce Graeber (285), Justin Kramer (138), Raheem Rahamatulla (145), Dominic Stabilito (152), and Vincent Stabilito (160) each won by fall in less than two minutes in Neshaminy's 48-26 win at Abington.

Suburban One American. Heavyweight Gabe Iacovino pinned his opponent in 47 seconds to highlight a 45-34 win by host Springfield (Montco) against Norristown.

Jason Amy won by fall in 27 seconds at 106 pounds to help Upper Moreland beat visiting Wissahickon, 55-21.

Suburban One Continental. Central Bucks South picked up six pins in a 46-25 win at Hatboro-Horsham. Ryan Lewis (106 pounds), Kyle Murphy (126), Peter MeMallie (132), Bobby Croasdale (145), Kyle Monsalud (170) and Luke Kohler (182) earned pins.

Catholic League Blue. Zach Schaffer held on for a 1-0 win at 120 pounds in Archbishop Wood's 48-23 win over visiting Archbishop Carroll. George Frattara also helped Wood with a 45-second pin at 138 pounds.

Ches-Mont American. Shane Boyer picked up a 14-0 major decision in West Chester Rustin's 64-10 win at Kennett.

Great Valley's Mayura Kulendran, Eric Payne, and Lake Johnson each made quick work of their opponents in a 65-24 win at Octorara. Kulendran had a pin in 1:10 at 145, Payne won by fall in 1:08 at 170, and Johnson finished his pin in 1:07 at 195.

Dylan Smallacombe had a pin in 25 seconds at 170 pounds in Unionville's 72-12 win over visiting Oxford.

Pioneer. Michael Lockhoff won by major decision, 14-3, at 160 pounds in Upper Perkiomen's 61-14 win at Pottstown. At 145, Eric Miller pulled out a 3-2 win over Bryant Wise by way of ultimate tie breaker.

Public. Heavyweight Stephane Eugene picked up a pin in 25 seconds for Washington in a 42-33 win against visiting Lincoln. Also standing out for Washington, Mark Khavinson had a pin in 54 seconds at 182 pounds and James Calderon pinned in 57 seconds at 132 pounds.

Central had 11 pins in its 66-15 win over visiting Edison. Zach Robles was the fastest to finish his match, earning the pin in 31 seconds at 113 pounds. Freshman Vlad Falendysh had a pin in 5:36 at 160 pounds.

Nonleague. Nick Colon pinned his opponent in 32 seconds at 145 pounds in Archbishop Ryan's 51-24 win at Germantown Friends.
