Timber Creek coach Rob Hinson said senior quarterback Khalil Trotman, who sat out the Thanksgiving Day game against Triton, likely will be able to play in the sectional title game Sunday at Rowan.

"He's 90 percent," Hinson said after Timber Creek's 26-20 victory over its school-district rival.

Trotman suffered a sprained ankle in a 25-22 overtime victory over Kingsway Nov. 21 in the South Jersey Group 4 semifinals.

Trotman has passed for 1,998 yards and 20 touchdowns this season for No. 2 Timber Creek (11-0), which will face No. 5 Shawnee (10-1) in the title game, set for a 3:30 p.m. kickoff.

"The extra day will help," Hinson said of playing Sunday. - Phil Anastasia
