Pa. Girls: Thurs. Pa. girls: Pennsbury advances to final

Central Bucks East 3, Council Rock South 0 - Emma Loving scored a pair of goals to lead the second-seeded Patriots past the No. 14 Golden Hawks. Katie Dolf delivered a four-save shutout for Central Bucks East.

District 1 Class AAA Soccer Playbacks

Erica Mastromatto scored in the first half, and host No. 8 Spring-Ford held on for a 1-0 win over No. 22 Great Valley.

Owen J. Roberts 2, Conestoga 1- Morgan Shronk scored twice to lead the No. 28 Wildcats over the No. 10 Pioneers.

District 1 Class A Volleyball Final

Sacred Heart dug in and defeated Christopher Dock, 25-12, 26-24, 11-25, 20-25, 15-9, to claim its fourth title in five years at Plymouth Whitemarsh.

Lauren Kilroy and Ally Schell dominated the back line in the final game, with 12 combined digs.

Jessica McTaggart had 42 assists. Kellilynn Murray (six aces, 14 digs) and Ciara Burke (game-ending kills in Games 1-2) helped the Lions build the early lead.

Christopher Dock won the title in five games last season.
