Pennsbury edges C.R. North

Kelly Amador scored off an assist from Caroline Foley in the 57th minute and Pennsbury clipped Council Rock North, 1-0, at home.

Pennsbury, which now leads the division by two games, is ranked No. 8 in Southeastern Pennsylvania by The Inquirer.

Suburban One Continental. Katie Fischer sent a left-footed shot over the goalie's hands with 23 minutes to go and No. 2 Pennridge beat No. 6 Central Bucks West, 1-0, at home.

Kate Neil won it by scoring after a scrum in front of the net with one minute left to send No. 5 Central Bucks South to a 1-0 win at Hatboro-Horsham.

Field Hockey

Grace Schwabenland scored 22 minutes into the second half to lift Upper Dublin to a 1-0 Suburban One American victory at Cheltenham.

Boys' Soccer

Brian Gilligan kicked in the winner after Evan Vare struck the post with 4 minutes, 20 seconds left in overtime to send No. 4 Central Bucks East to a 2-1, Suburban One Continental victory over visiting No. 5 North Penn.

Pioneer Liberty. Danny Bechtel scored with 3:04 remaining in overtime to secure a 3-2 victory for Boyertown at Methacton.
