Sat. Pa. boys and girls: Roman blanks Truman

A.J. Umile netted a goal and an assist. Stefano Aiello-Pang and Matthew Flanagan scored, as well.

Elsewhere in nonleague action:

Haverford School won the Under Armour Prep School Classic with a 1-0 win over Archbishop Curley. Connor Gregory scored off an assist from Grant Yu.

Central Bucks East's Austin Prime delivered his second shutout in as many days, earning a 2-0 win over visiting Spring-Ford. J.R. Eisold and Evan Vare each netted a goal.

West Chester Henderson's Kevin Cummings came off the bench with 1 minute, 15 seconds remaining and made a great save to secure a 1-0 win over Perkiomen Valley in the West Chester Henderson Labor Day Classic final.

Springside Chestnut Hill peppered the Friends' Central net, as five Blue Devils scored in a 6-1 win over the visiting Phoenix. The Blue Devils had 19 shots on goal, and Christian Williams put two in the net.

After an injury to goalkeeper Fred Agliano, Boyertown's Jim Lawlor came in to secure a 2-0 shutout of visiting Bensalem.

Trent Taylor sent Methacton to a 1-0 victory at Souderton, burying a penalty kick 16 minutes into the game.

Luca Ferlin had five saves and held Chichester scoreless through the first 60 minutes to lead Harriton to a 4-2 win at home. Jerome Thierry scored once and had an assist.

Girls' Soccer

Jules LaSanta scored a hat trick for Lansdale Catholic, as the Crusaders defeated Bonner-Prendergast, 8-1, in a Catholic League game at Ocean City.

Grace Gaus netted a pair of goals. Colbie Cummings, Alessandra Messina, and Maggie Wunder each scored once.

Nonleague. Jenny Martin scored twice in Methacton's 2-1 win at Souderton. Hannah Walsh had seven saves to earn the win.

Alyssa Tobin scored two goals for Neshaminy, as the Redskins edged visiting Cumberland Valley, 4-3.

Hannah Specht had two goals and an assist to lead host West Chester East to a 4-1 victory over Radnor.

Emma Loving ran past a defender and scored to give Central Bucks East a 1-0 overtime win at home against West Chester Rustin. Lauren Burrell had eight saves.

Field Hockey

Conestoga scored five second-half goals to defeat visiting West Chester East, 5-1, in a nonleague game.

Emma McGillis scored twice and had an assist. Kiley Allen, Adah Lindquist, and Meredith Ross also scored.

In other nonleague action:

Katie McErlean had a hat trick for host Phoenixville in a 3-1 victory over Great Valley. Kim Rutherford recorded 11 saves in the win.

Ellie Grove had three goals and Anna Mulcrone scored twice in Avon Grove's 7-1 romp at Radnor.

Taylor Dorrin powered the offense, scoring three times in Ridley's 5-2 win at Plymouth Whitemarsh.
