No matter, though, as the junior was always in control to lead the Rams over the Spartans, 10-3, at West Deptford Little League field.

Capello scattered four hits and struck out 18 to earn the win. Marisa Meglino doubled and drove in two runs, and Coastal Carolina recruit Annie Robinson belted a home run. Angela Antonini and Allison McCarthy also doubled.

Gloucester Catholic distanced itself with seven runs in the sixth inning.

Also in the Classic Division, Dani Merritt threw a six-hitter and went 4 for 5 from the plate to power Salem to a 10-2 win at Clayton. Dina Cable, Lauren Turner, and Merritt each doubled, and Jessica Pate was 5 for 5 and scored three runs. All the Rams' scoring came after the fourth inning.

Cape-Atlantic National. Six runs in the third inning vaulted Lower Cape May to a 10-7 win at Bridgeton. Autumn Sachs homered and drove in three runs.

Colonial. Zeaenna Brackett went 2 for 4 with a home run and two RBIs to lift Haddonfield over visiting Woodbury, 4-3.

Olympic National. Megan Wall clubbed her first career home run over the fence in right field en route to a 3-for-4 day at the plate to lead host Paul VI past Seneca, 22-8. Dylan Jarvis drove in six runs.

Nonleague. Brielle Morichetti struck out all 12 batters she faced as host Burlington City blanked Camden Academy Charter, 12-0.

Palmyra's Caroline Beuerle went 2 for 4, scored four runs, and knocked in three to help the Panthers cruise past visiting Lindenwold, 20-1. Nicole Broomhead's two RBIs came on a 3-for-3 day hitting.

For her second consecutive start, Julia Voluntad went the distance. The Delsea pitcher struck out 14 and scattered three hits as the Crusaders topped host Penns Grove, 8-2. At the plate, Voluntad went 3 for 4 with three RBIs and scored a run.

Lacrosse

Rancocas Valley divided 14 goals three ways as the host Red Devils breezed past Northern Burlington, 14-1, in a Burlington County Liberty game.

MeKayla Montgomery paced Rancocas Valley with seven goals, Peyton Sventy added five, and McKenzie Montgomery had two.

Cape-Atlantic. Jenna Herlihy tallied five goals, and Allison Hunter and Julianna Riggitano each added a hat trick to power Middle Township to a 19-8 win at Mainland.

Olympic Patriot. Cherry Hill East pulled away in the second half as the visiting Cougars doubled up Cherry Hill West, 14-7. Taylor Patrizi and Meg Thompson each netted a hat trick. Thompson also recorded an assist.

Rachel Adap made eight saves to earn the win. Cherry Hill East led by only 4-3 at halftime.
