Beck continued her dominance from the circle as the host Braves downed Holy Spirit, 4-0, in a Cape-Atlantic American softball game.

The win was the third straight for the Braves, and Beck has earned the victory in each game. She scattered three hits and struck out seven in her shutout. Beck has gotten stingier in each of her last three starts, allowing two runs to Deptford and one to Atlantic County Tech before Wednesday's outing.

Absegami was powered at the plate by Tiffany Bell. Bell went 2 for 3 and drove in three runs, including a two-run double in the fourth inning. Becca Roesch also doubled for the Braves.

In other Cape American action, Buena's Sam Fiocchi pitched five innings and struck out nine to turn back visiting Wildwood Catholic, 11-2. Lynnsie Collins knocked in three runs with two hits.

Colonial. Haddon Heights scored in each inning to ease past host Gateway, 18-2. Chelsea Thomas went 4 for 4 with an RBI, and Lauren Simmons drove in three runs.

Olympic. Freshman Sam Sak belted a two-run homer that landed on the school's roof as host Paul VI blanked Bishop Eustace, 11-0. Brielle Pietrafesa accounted for four of her five RBIs with a grand slam in the second inning.

Nonleague. Madison LaPlante doubled twice and finished with two RBIs as Shawnee doubled up visiting St. Joseph, 12-6. Taylor Gilligan added a solo home run.

Delsea's Julia Voluntad threw a four-hit shutout and fanned 14 as the host Crusaders topped Salem, 7-0.

Westampton Tech eased to a 24-3 win at Winslow Township behind three RBIs from Jackie Young.

Courtney Hankins drove in four runs as host Pennsville edged GCIT, 10-7 in eight innings.

Lacrosse

Delran had the game in hand at halftime en route to an 18-7 win over visiting Maple Shade in a Burlington County Liberty game.

The Bears led, 14-4, at intermission and were paced by Rachel Ceplo's five goals. Mackenzie Groark and Arianna Quinlan each netted four scores, and Nicole Martin added two goals.

Cait Cristella made seven saves to help Delran to its second win of the season.

Nonleague. Michelle Hallman found the net six times to lead Paul VI to a 14-11 win at Gloucester Catholic. Kaylin Donaghy scored four goals, and Erica McLaughlin added two.

Lenape's Rena Carabases paced the Indians with five goals in a 15-9 triumph at Kingsway.

Six players scored multiple goals in West Deptford's 15-5 win over visiting Haddonfield. Sam Budd and Paige Paratore powered the Eagles with three goals apiece.

Alexis Pettisani's five goals helped Eastern move past host Seneca, 9-5. Bree Rolke and Karlee Spirit each netted two goals.
