Visiting Gloucester jumped out to a six-run lead after one inning en route to a 10-4 win over Ware's Wolverines on Thursday afternoon in a nonleague game.

Chris Walmsley earned the victory, and Lazaro Pedro and Angel Rodriguez doubled for the Lions.

Ware tied Russ Spicer with Tuesday's season-opening, 4-2 win over Deptford. This is Ware's 41st year coaching.

In other nonleague action:

Eleven innings were not enough to decide a winner, and the impending darkness caused host Deptford and Wildwood to end the game tied, 4-4.

Christian Cortese doubled and tripled, and Pete Forte drove in three runs as Delsea eased to a 13-0 win at Triton.

Egg Harbor Township's Justin Epifanio went 2 for 3 with two RBIs to lead the host Eagles to a 7-4 win over Lower Cape May. Monty Strickland added two doubles.

Burlington County. Kyle Kafer threw a two-hitter and struck out eight as host Bordentown blanked Delran, 6-0. Josh Cashman went 2 for 3 and drove in three runs.

Maple Shade's Tony King went 3 for 4 and knocked in two runs, and Joe Luscko tripled in a run as the Wildcats topped visiting Burlington City, 8-0.

Scott Zimmer dazzled Burlington Township as the Moorestown pitcher tossed a two-hitter and struck out 10 to lift the host Quakers to a 1-0 win. Justin Varga's solo home run in the third inning provided the offense.

Northern Burlington cruised to a 6-0 win at Rancocas Valley powered by Pat Welsh, who went 2 for 3 and knocked in two runs.

Riverside's three-run third inning proved to be the difference as the host Rams turned back New Egypt, 5-2. Tanner Clifford finished with two RBIs and struck out six over six innings to earn the win.

Colonial. Wayne Test doubled in a run and also fanned nine from the mound as Audubon downed visiting Gateway, 4-0.

Haddon Heights scored six runs in the fourth inning en route to an 8-1 win at Overbrook. Alec Stein earned the victory.

Cape-Atlantic. Ocean City was powered by Sean Mooney on the mound and at the plate in an 8-4 triumph over visiting St. Joseph. Mooney struck out 10 over six innings and also doubled.

Matt Ardente pitched a four-hitter and struck out seven as host Absegami edged Millville, 2-1. Kyle Cox starred offensively, as he belted two solo home runs.

St. Augustine's Matt McCourt doubled twice and drove in a run as the Hermits won, 6-4, at Hammonton. Five of St. Augustine's nine hits were doubles.

Olympic. Chase Vena was a perfect 3 for 3 and brought home five runs to propel host Seneca past Timber Creek, 9-4. Xavier Czepiel earned the victory.

Lacrosse

Egg Harbor Township's defense impressed just as much as its offense in a 15-2 rout of visiting Absegami in a Cape-Atlantic League game.

Kyler Bordonaro paced all players with four goals, and Connor Houghton chipped in with a hat trick. The Eagles allowed just one goal in both the second and fourth quarters.

Olympic. Lee Bouggess peppered the net with 10 shots and scored four goals to lead Camden Catholic to a 12-5 win at Woodstown. He added three assists.

Adam Giordano netted four goals, and Tyler Levine finished with a hat trick.
