Sat. Pa. wrestling: Anderson earns wins national prep title

Jake Anderson made history Saturday at Lehigh University by becoming the first Malvern Prep wrestler to win a title at the National Prep championships.

Anderson, the top seed at 220 pounds, recorded two wins by fall in less than 1 minute, 30 seconds and gave up just one point in three decisions.

Haverford School's L.J. Barlow finished second at 195 pounds.

Boyertown claimed five championships, including four by pin, in rolling to another team title at Spring-Ford.

Boyertown's Jakob Campbell (106), Eddie Kriczky (132), Gregg Harvey (160), and Jordan Wood (220) won by fall, and Jordan Wertz (195) prevailed by technical fall.
