Spotlight on: Moorestown senior Tyreek RobinsonThere are times when Tyreek Robinson still misses playing quarterback.
But the Moorestown senior has found a new home at wide receiver.
Since Robinson moved wide to give Moorestown more of a threat on the perimeter, the Quakers offense has scored four touchdowns or more in three of four games and moved into position to qualify for the South Jersey Group 4 playoffs.
"I'm happy with the switch," said Robinson, who was the Quakers' quarterback in 2012 and through the first three games of this season. "It's been good for the team. I still miss quarterback. But I'll do whatever I can to help the team."
Moorestown (3-4) can even its record at .500 with a victory over 2-4 Woodrow Wilson on Saturday.
A top defensive back, Robinson has 29 tackles and three interceptions. He also has scored four touchdowns.
"As a senior and a captain, the most important thing for me is to make the playoffs," Robinson said. "It would mean more than anything."
