Sat. Pa. football: Glen Mills downs Interboro

Interboro, which trailed by 20-0 at halftime, pulled within seven after Mark Everton returned a punt 75 yards in the third. Dontae Coates converted a 1-yard keeper with two minutes remaining to ice the game.

Elsewhere in the Del-Val:

DuJuan Santana rushed for two TDs, and Chichester held off Chester, 26-12, at home.

Jerry Lanier picked up three of his four touchdowns during a 27-point second quarter to propel Academy Park past visiting Penn Wood, 39-0.

Public League Class AAA. Joseph Walker tossed two TDs and also ran one in as visiting Martin Luther King turned away Overbrook, 20-16.

Kevin Caldwell passed for 207 yards and four scores and added another on the ground in Ben Franklin's 41-6 win over Boys' Latin at Gratz.

Inter-Ac League. Paul Dooley hit Dylan Parsons for a 93-yard touchdown with six minutes remaining to give host Springside Chestnut Hill a 24-21 victory over Haverford School.

Dooley secured the victory by batting down a fourth-down pass on his own 35 with 1 minute, 10 seconds left.

Dooley racked up 305 yards and three TDs through the air and another 125 yards rushing.

Catholic League. Mike Isabella opened the scoring with a 62-yard run and Lansdale Catholic rolled from there, scoring the first five touchdowns en route to a 42-14 home victory over Archbishop Carroll.

Pioneer Athletic Conference. Spring-Ford posted its second road shutout in three weeks, rolling at Pope John Paul II, 47-0. Jarred Jones piled up five TDs.

At Methacton, the host Warriors put up a shutout of their own, rolling over Owen J. Roberts, 57-0. Conner Derrickson had a hand in four TDs.

Nonleague. Jamie Earl picked off a pass in the end zone with 14 seconds remaining to seal a 23-20 home win for Academy of the New Church over Pennington.

In Newtown, Bucks County, Christian Sparacio scored three times to lead George School past Calvary Christian, 22-13.
