Q: Why did you choose Pitt?

A: "It's like a second home and just 5 hours away. It's a great atmosphere and environment. It's a great place to grow up and become a man. The football team made me feel like family."

Q: Who's your favorite professional athlete?

A: "Deion Sanders. It's his swagger. You don't get too many balanced defensive players like him. He can run, catch, and I even think he can tackle, too."

Q: Who's your favorite pro sports team?

A: "The Cowboys. That's been my team since I was 10 years old."

Q: Do you have a favorite hobby?

A: "I like to mentor little kids. In our school, we have a daycare center, and all the kids know me. I'm trying to guide them from now until they get into high school."

Q: What's your favorite TV show?

A: "It would be 'CSI' because of the brains and knowledge they have, being able to detect everything."

Q: What's your favorite song to warm up to?

A: "Jay-Z and Kanye West - 'HAM.' I play it on my iPod, and they play it in our stadium, too."

Q: What's your favorite kind of food?

A: "Fried chicken. My mom makes it all the time, and I make it myself sometimes."

Q: What's your favorite sport besides football?

A: "Basketball. I've been starting point guard at the school since 10th grade."

Q: Who is your greatest role model?

A: "I would say my father. Lots of kids don't have their father, but I'm lucky to have mine in my life. I love my mom and dad a whole lot, and my dad is definitely my role model."

Q: What's the best part about being a high school football player?

A: "The fun that comes with it. When you get into the big leagues and college, it's all business. It's still fun but not like this. You get to show up in front of your own crowd and basically do your thing."

Q: Where do you think your team is headed this season?

A: "I think we can win the Public League championship. If we were ever to win it, this would be the year."
