Wed. Pa. girls’ roundup: Wissahickon wins by a point

Teammate Dominique Earland led Wissahickon with 15 points.

Host Abington Friends scored all 22 of the first-quarter points in a 59-10 win over Esperanza. Twelve Kangaroos broke into the scoring column, led by Brittany Garrison's 12 points.

Brianna Butler's 21 points and nine rebounds led Penn Charter to a 57-48 win at Neumann-Goretti. Butler scored eight points in the second quarter, when the Quakers went on a 16-7 run.

Villa Joseph Marie shot 19 for 32 from the free-throw line in a 56-43 win at St. Hubert. The Jems were led by Megan Ledwith's 21 points.

Public. Strawberry Mansion went on a 21-0 run just before halftime and rolled to a 55-23 win over visiting Mariana Bracetti. Roneesha Rollins had 27 points and 12 assists for the Knights (4-0).

Paul Robeson got 17 points from Tiffany Then in a 49-24 win over visiting West Philadelphia.
