Kensington, Masterman advance

Kensington got 16 kills and nine blocks from Hector Then and beat visiting Central, 3-0, for the District 12 Class AAA title.

Jesus Reyes added 42 assists for the Tigers, who beat the Lancers, 25-17, 25-13 and 25-15.

In the Class AA title match, Masterman got 15 kills from Brian Stevenson and downed visiting CAPA, 3-0, for its third straight title.

Sam Jung chipped in with eight kills for the Blue Dragons who won, 25-18, 25-22 and 25-15.

Kensington will play Masterman for the Public League title on May 22 at Community College of Philadelphia.
