Pa. Girls | Episcopal's Perfetti hits 1,000-point mark in win

Brittney Perfetti yesterday became only the second female basketball player at Episcopal Academy to reach 1,000 points for her career.

And the best news of all for fans of the Churchwomen, other than a 57-48 Inter-Ac League win over visiting Baldwin, is that she's only a junior.

Perfetti needed only two points coming into the game to achieve the milestone.

She did that, plus add an additional 31 for a career-high 33 points. Her first two points of the game, on a pair of free throws, achieved her mark.

Alison Hadden, a 1998 grad, is the only other girl to reach 1,000 in Episcopal Academy history.
