Thirteen former champions are in the field for Tuesday's start of the 96th Philadelphia PGA Professional Championship at Laurel Creek Country Club in Mount Laurel and Burlington Country Club in Mount Holly.

A field of 139 players will compete for $70,000 in prize money, including $8,000 to the winner, in the 54-hole event. The top 13 finishers will qualify for the 2018 PGA Professional National Championship at Seaside, Calif.

Each contestant will play one round at Laurel Creek and one round at Burlington over the first two days. The field will be cut to the low 60 and ties for Thursday's final 18 at Laurel Creek.

Jordan Gibbs of Gulph Mills is the defending champion. Dave McNabb of Applebrook, the 2015 winner, will compete in the event after participating last weekend for the United States team in the PGA Cup Matches at Otterbank, England.
