CHERRY HILLS VILLAGE, Colo. (AP) - Chris Kirk now has only one cup on his mind - the FedEx Cup.

Kirk says he was disappointed to be left off the Ryder Cup team. U.S. captain Tom Watson instead took Webb Simpson among his three wild-card selections. Even after Kirk won the Deutsche Bank Championship, he says he wasn't entitled to be on the Ryder Cup team because he didn't earn a spot.

But he made it clear Wednesday that he wanted to be on the team. He says Watson congratulated him on his FedEx Cup playoff win before saying he was picking someone else for the matches.

Kirk says it's hard to be too disappointed when he's No. 1 in the FedEx Cup standing and has a clear shot at the $10 million prize.
