Erdmann holds second-round lead at PGA Professional Championship

He shot a 2-under-par 69 yesterday that left him at 202 heading into today's final round. The top 20 finishers qualify for the PGA Championship in August, at the Atlanta Athletic Club. There's currently a two-way tie for the last spot, at 211.

Of the four players from the Philadelphia Section who made the cut, Mike Moses (Garnet Valley) is tied for 46th, at 214, He carded a 72. Stu Ingraham (Broomall), who made it to Whistling Straights last year at 50, is at 216 following a 73. Bill Sautter (Ocean City, N.J.) is at 217, after a 75. And Cleve Coldwater (Clarks Summit, Pa.) had a 76 for 218.
