Cook takes tourney, Roberts the season
Cook closed with a 3-under 69 to finish at 22-under 266 at Sonoma Golf Club. He broke the tournament record of 268 shared by Jim Thorpe and Andy Bean.
Roberts had a 66 to tie for sixth at 13-under 275 and win the points title and $1 million annuity for the second time in three years. He had to hold off a strong surge from Bernhard Langer (68), who also finished at 13 under.
Russ Cochran (68) finished second in the tournament. Brad Bryant (69) and Jeff Sluman (68) were 15 under, and Phil Blackmar (69) was 14 under.
World Match Play
CASARES, Spain - Ross Fisher beat Anthony Kim, 4 and 3, to win the 36-hole World Match Play Championship final.Fisher, an Englishman, eagled the 22d hole and birdied the next to take a 3-up lead at the Finca Cortesin golf course. Kim, an American, won the next hole before missing short putts at the next two, then squandering several chances to win holes down the stretch.
Robert Allenby of Australia, beat Angel Cabrera of Argentina in the third-place match.

INCHEON, South Korea - Na Yeon Choi birdied the last hole for a 5-under 67, giving her a 1-shot victory over Maria Hjorth and Yani Tseng at the Hana Bank KOLON Championships.Choi finished at 10-under 278 at Sky 72 Golf Club's Ocean Course.
European Tour
SINGAPORE - Ian Poulter shot a final-round 72 to win the Singapore Open by a shot over Liang Wenchong. The 33-year-old Englishman, who led from the opening round, finished at 10-under 274 at the Sentosa Golf Club.The Singapore Open is co-sanctioned by the European and Asian tours.

PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. - PGA Tour winner Bill Britton won the Senior PGA Professional National Championship, closing with a 5-under 67 for a tournament-record 18-under 270 total and a 1-stroke victory over Perry Arthur.The 54-year-old Britton, the director of instruction at Donald Trump's Colts Neck, N.J., facility, broke the tournament record set by Jeff Coston in 2006, on the PGA Golf Club's Wanamaker Course.
