Watch: Highlights of Flyers draft pick Nolan Patrick

After the names Patrick and Hischier bounced around NHL circles for weeks, the Flyers finally made their choice: It was Nolan Patrick.

In the eyes of most experts, 18-year-old prospects Patrick and Nico Hischier sat far above the rest of this year's draft class. With the No. 2 overall pick in the draft Friday night, the Flyers selected Patrick.

The Winnipeg, Canada, native has played at least parts of the last four seasons with the Brandon Wheat Kings of the Western Hockey League. He missed most of last season with a sports hernia injury, but still finished with 20 goals and 26 assists in 33 games and compiled plenty of film:
