Wayne Simmonds and Claude Giroux took on the Harlem Globetrotters this past weekend in a meeting of ancient foes and natural rivals.
“I just gotta get the ball, go strong to the hoop and dunk on somebody," Simmonds said prior to the game.
He failed once, reset, and failed again. But that third time proved that he was a man of his word, and Giroux can handle anything expertly as long as he's got a hockey stick in his hands.
And, so, it turns out that the best basketball player to perform at the WFC this year is....Wayne Simmonds. #Sorry, Sixers
