Rinaldo Blog: Day 15

Voorhees, N.J. – Wed. April 25, 10:04 a.m.

I have to admit, it is definitely a little weird not knowing who we are going to play in the second round. It will be nearly a week off – at least – between playoff games, but that hasn't really changed the focus around here.

Everyone is keeping a close eye on who our next opponent could be, but it really doesn't matter at this point. It's not going to change things one way or the other.

How does a team celebrate knocking off a hated rival? Everyone went downtown after Game 6 for food. It was a huge relief that we closed out that series.

The best part was a day off after Game 6, but we were quickly back to work at Skate Zone. Having these days off between games is great for us because it helps us recover from the last series and gives us time to work on things that maybe weren't so good against Pittsburgh.

For me, I'm passing this week with some buddies in town. I had five friends come down from Hamilton, Ontario, to hang out – looks like they picked a good time to do it. Last night, we went out for a good dinner and called it a night.

There is more fun to be had. For now, it's back to work. The beard is alive and well, and I am loving it.
