We apparently have come a long way from Jeremy Roenick's big hug of Ed Snider when Roenick signed his massive free agent contract with the Flyers in 2001.

Roenick appears on the debut episode of a show called "Master Debaters," hosted by comedian Jay Mohr, tonight on FUEL TV (10:30 p.m.) and takes his shot at Philly fans during a debate segment on the most annoying fans in sports. Also on the panel are former Oakland A's outfielder Eric Byrnes and comedian Na'im Lynn.

JR goes to the booing of Santa Claus right away and then comes with this, "Do you remember when Tie Domi of the Maple Leafs was playing the Flyers and he was in the penalty box and that Philadelphia fan dove through the glass into the penalty box after the guy ... That is messed up fans. Philadelphia fans are crazy, crazy sons of bitches."

Perhaps his point was how intimidating the Philly fans are.

Mohr then brought up a completely inacurrate portrayal of the incident involving Michael Irvin being taken from the Vet with a neck injury.

"They threw snowballs at Michael Irvin on a friggin' stretcher. The guy might have had a broken nexk and they threw friggin' snowballs at him."

There's a video clip from the show below.

Jay Mohr is a moronic tool. He is not the least bit funny either. I heard him on Sirius NFL Radio during Super Bowl week saying how much he hates Philly and Philly fans. F him.

i dont know.. i think roenick loves philly... i think he is speaking with a hint of admiration when he calls the fans "crazy". mohr, on the other hand, is just voicing what 99% of america thinks about us.

I don't think JR was taking a shot at Philly fans as you describe it.

With that lame line-up that show should be called Master Baters. I hope someone kicks Mohr's wifes rear-end for putting her foot under that poor Philly woman's wheelchair. I mean the humanity.

That's the play on words they're going for with the title, you get that, right?

the glass gave way as the fan's portly body was hanging over the top of of it.
it's not like he was sitting innocently in his seat.

How weak, it's always easy to take shots at Philly fans, and let's face facts, sometimes deservedly so. But how many fans have been stabbed in Oakland, but it's always fashionable to take jabs at Philly fans. Look, these guys are a couple of washed up Jag-ovs. They should call the show "Honeybaked" because JR's the biggest ham I know. (Friggin crybaby)

Roenick and Mohr love to hear themselves talk. The other guy is a wannabe. How come nobody ever mentions that Domi squirted his water bottle at the fan before the fan fell through the glass?

Your right, that load from Havertown/haverford couldn't jump over a chalk line.Technically, fat boy was ponding and leaning his overweight frame on glass & it gave way. Hockey player squirted water, all in give and take with fans, and Arbuckle acts brave like he's going to do something and proceeds to tumble into PB and gat his hat handed to him. Good times.Mohr is so passe,he's now jumping sand sharks.
