High Flyer: A quick look at Eric Lindros’ career

A look back at the career of Eric Lindros, the former Flyers center who was voted Monday into the Hockey Hall of Fame:

* Acquired by the Flyers for Peter Forsberg, Mike Ricci, Steve Duchesne, Ron Hextall, Kerry Huffman, Chris Simon, a first-round pick in 1993 (Jocelyn Thibault), a first-round pick in 1994 (Nolan Baumgartner, Washington) and $15 million cash.

* Fifth in Flyers history in points (659) and assists (369), eighth in goals (290), and seventh in power-play goals (82).

* But the most telling statistic of Lindros' career is that he is first in team history in points per game at 1.36. Second is Tim Kerr at 1.08. Bobby Clarke's ppg is 1.06. If not for injuries, Lindros' career totals would have been significantly higher.

* Won the Hart Trophy as the NHL MVP in 1994-95 and followed it up with a career-best 115 points the next season.

* Was top-10 in the MVP voting four other times.

* There are nine other members of the Hockey Hall of Fame with Flyers ties: Bernie Parent (1984), Bobby Clarke (1987), Ed Snider (1988), Bill Barber (1990), Keith Allen (1992), Gene Hart (1997), Roger Neilson (2002), Mark Howe (2011), and Fred Shero (2013).

* Played in six consecutive All-Star Games starting in 1994.

* Lindros missed 276 regular-season games because of injuries, more than three full seasons.

* During Lindros' Flyers career from 1992-2000, he was second among all NHL players with 1.36 points per game. Only Jaromir Jagr (1.45) had a better average. Joe Sakic was 1.25; Steve Yzerman, 1.13.

* Took the Flyers to one Stanley Cup Finals, a four-game sweep by Yzerman and the Red Wings in 1997.

* Scored his 600th point in his 429th game. Only Wayne Gretzky (273), Mario Lemieux (323), Peter Stastny (394), Mike Bossy (400) and Jari Kurri (419) needed fewer games for 600 points.

* Suffered at least six concussions during his Flyers career, the most notorious coming from an open-ice hit by New Jersey's Scott Stevens in Game 7 of the 2000 Eastern Conference Finals. It was Lindros' last game as a Flyer.

* Was stripped of his captaincy of the Flyers during the 2000 season after his relationship with the front office became toxic. Sat out the 2000-01 season and was traded to the Rangers that summer. Was an All-Star in his first season for the Blue Shirts.

* Spent three seasons with the Rangers, one with Toronto (2005-06), and one with Dallas (2006-07) before retiring in 2007 at 34.

* Has reconciled with the Flyers organization, including former general manager Bobby Clarke, who endorsed Lindros' induction into the Hall of Fame.
