The Flyers game against Detroit on Sunday, April 4, at the Wachovia Center has been selected for national broadcast by NBC and will start at 12:30 p.m.

The game will be the first and only meeting of the regular season between the two teams, and the first time the Red Wings will have visited Philadelphia since Feb. 12, 2007.

The Flyers have also won their last five regular-season meetings at home against the Red Wings, a streak that dates back to the 1996-97 season. Of course, that 1997 season ended with the Wings sweeping the Flyers in the Stanley Cup finals.
