Flyers' Hall, Gervais clear waivers

Forward Adam Hall and defenseman Bruno Gervais cleared waivers on Sunday, and the Flyers must decide whether to keep them on the roster.

Forward Adam Hall and defenseman Bruno Gervais cleared waivers on Sunday, and the Flyers must decide whether to keep them on the roster.

Gervais is expected to be sent to the AHL Phantoms.

GM Paul Holmgren said he would make final deciisons before Monday's 5 p.m. deadline.

Jake Voracek, who injured his lower back last week, was on the ice briefly Sunday but did not skate with his linemates.Brayden Schenn was on the top line, with Claude Giroux and Scott Hartnell.

Voracek is fine and will play in Wednesday's season opener against the visiting Maple Leafs, Holmgren said.

The second line Sunday had Vinny Lecavalier centering Wayne Simmonds and Matt Read.

The other lines: Sean Couturier centering Hall and Max Talbot; and Scott Laughton centering Zac Rinaldo and Jay Rosehill.

The D pairings: Kimmo Timonen and Braydon Coburn; Luke Schenn and Mark Streit; Nick Grossmann and Andrej Meszaros; and Erik Gustafsson and Hal Gill.
