Flyers prepare to set a new Guinness Book of World Records
The Flyers are attempting to set a new Guinness Book of World record and they want their fans to help them. It has nothing to do with hockey or anything sports related for that matter. What record you ask?
Drum roll, please!
The most people to simultaneously watch paint dry.
Or the dumbest world record ever; either works.
This is not a joke; the Flyers are actually excited about this.
The Flyers have even created an event on their Facebook page inviting fans to the Wells Fargo Center Monday at 11 a.m. to watch as they paint the logos and lines on the ice. So far, 38 people are going.
They also want people to join in the conversation on Twitter by using #WFCIceMaking.
I hope this event lives up to the Flyers' expectations but I have a feeling they might be getting their hopes up on this one.
