GLENDALE, Ariz. _ Phoenix Coyotes captain Shane Doan is returning just in time to face the Flyers on Saturday night.

The Coyotes announced Friday that Doan had been cleared to play. The 37-year-old center was diagnosed with Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever in December and hasn't played since Dec. 4.

Phoenix went 4-3-5 in the 12 games Doan missed. When he was sidelined, he led the team with 12 goals.

While on his free-agent tour in 2012, Doan visited the Flyers before re-sgining with Phoenix.
