Brian Boucher is teaming with another former Flyer in the realty business.

Tim Kerr, owner of Tim Kerr's Power Play Realty in Avalon, recently announced a new partnership with Boucher to his real-estate team.

Originally selected by the Flyers in the first round of the 1995 draft (22d overall), “Boosh” played 13 NHL seasons before retiring this past year. The 37-year-old Rhode Island native finished his career with a 2.71 goals-against average and .901 save percentage.

Boucher set an NHL record with five straight shutouts while playing for Phoenix in 2003-04. He was not scored upon for 332:01 and had 146 saves in that span. The previous records of 309:21 and four consecutive shutouts were set by Montreal's Bill Durnan in 1949.

One of the highlights of Boucher’s Flyers career was outdueling Henrik Lundqvist in a shootout on the final day of the 2009-10 regular season, enabling the host team to beat the New York Rangers and sneak into the playoffs. The Flyers then went to the Stanley Cup Finals before losing to Chicago in six games.
