Halloween is right around the corner and people are looking out for all sorts of scary things to get in the spirit of the holiday.

One group of people doesn't have to look far for a frightful sight: Philadelphia sports fans just have to look up the local teams' place in the standings for a scare.

The Eagles, Phillies, Flyers, Sixers and Union all missed the playoffs in their previous seasons and the outlook for the current and upcoming seasons does not look promising. At the moment, the Union have a slim shot at postseason play, but the team will need a lot of help in the last week of the MLS season.

In addition, the four major sports teams changed head coaches in 2013.
