Flyers start rookie camp on Sept. 14

The Flyers will open their three-day rookie camp Sept. 14 at the Skate Zone in Voorhees, general manager Ron Hextall said Wednesday.

The Flyers will open their three-day rookie camp Sept. 14 at the Skate Zone in Voorhees, general manager Ron Hextall said Wednesday.

The camp will consist of on-ice sessions beginning at 9:45 a.m. each day. The sessions are free and open to the public.

A total of 24 players are scheduled to take part in the camp, including first-round picks Ivan Provorov (2015) and Travis Konecny (2015), Travis Sanheim (2014), Sam Morin (2013), and Scott Laughton (2012).

The Flyers' training camp starts Sept. 17 and the team opens its season Oct. 8 at Tampa Bay.
